KRIS MURRAY MIFSM

Director & Lead Risk Assessor

With over three decades of experience in high-pressure, safety-critical environments, my professional journey began with ten years of dedicated service in the Royal Air Force (1997–2007). During this time, I worked as an aircraft engineer, specialising in ground equipment support for a wide range of aircraft including the Tornado, Sentry E3-D, and Nimrod. My career took me across the globe, with deployments spanning the Gulf region (twice) and numerous other operational theatres, where I gained invaluable experience maintaining operational readiness under demanding conditions.

Following my RAF service, I pursued a new challenge - training as a Firefighter in 2007. Over the next 18 years, I served proudly as an operational Firefighter and later as a Crew Manager, responding to emergencies, leading teams, and playing a vital role in community safety and fire prevention. My experience on the front line has given me deep insight into real-world fire risks and the practical measures required to protect lives and property.

This extensive background in both engineering and frontline emergency response led me to found KRS Fire Safety Solutions Ltd - where my mission is to help businesses, landlords, and property owners meet their fire safety obligations with confidence, professionalism, and integrity.
